About Happily On The Move

Hi! We're Ken and Cheryl — full-time adventurers and part-time snowbirds splitting our time between the beautiful Finger Lakes of New York and the sunny shores of Florida.

Ken is a retired firefighter/paramedic from Florida where he spent nearly 30 years in emergency services, and Cheryl is a former paralegal who later became a full-time stay-at-home mom while raising our two kids. Once they were older, she finished her career working in accounting and tax. These days our kids are all grown up (27 and 29), which has opened the door for a new chapter of life for us.

Our RV journey began a few years ago with a Forest River Alpha Wolf, and it didn’t take long before we upgraded to our current home on wheels: a Keystone Cougar 316RLS 5th wheel. What started as a fun way to escape the cold quickly turned into a passion for travel, discovery, and living life Happily On The Move.

In January 2025, we launched our YouTube channel to share this lifestyle with others. On our channel, you'll find not just RV adventures, but a variety of travel experiences — from road trips and cruises to flights and destination highlights. Whether we’re towing our RV across a scenic highway or hopping on a plane to explore someplace new, we’re always chasing the next great adventure.
